ORBIS SOUND: PLAYLIST VOL.14 BY TEVIN ARANTA (ANJA)

The 14th entry to our ORBIS SOUND playlist series is from Anja's finest, Tevin Aranta.

Tevin is part of Jakarta's young disco revival movement and collective Anja. Following their first show at the now defunct bar Mondo by The Rooftop from the year 2017, Anja has played along side well known names in the local night life scene such as Pleasure, Dekadenz, and Scrubs! just to name a few. They've also played along side big names in the disco scene like Kornel Kovacs, Justin Van Der Volgen, and Eric Duncan on their 2nd anniversary show. Tevin with Anja also had a program at Potato Head's Jakarta chapter titled "Floating Garden"

Tevin Aranta is also one of the heads behind THIS, a clothing label that we carry. And we are expecting something new to come out of THIS later in 2022.

ORBIS SOUND vol.14 that is curated by Tevin Aranta is a showcase of what kind of music that he plays for Anja in their acts. You can expect music ranging from Italo Disco, Old-school House, Afrobeat, and of course good old Disco in this ORBIS SOUND vol.14.
